Terms and Conditions
- All events are organised and managed by Webb's Event Group (the organiser)
- Stall holders must be aged 16.5 years and over.
- Site fees are not refundable or transferable if you are unable to attend the market. If the market is cancelled by the organiser a full refund will be issued.
- Only items with prior approval of the organiser are permitted for sale and display.
- Webb’s Event Group approval is required for the addition of new product lines.
- Sites are not to be sub-let by stall holders.
- Joint stall holders are permitted subject to approval by the organiser.
- Stall holders are required to be set up for business at their allocated stall site and ready to sell by the time set on the stallholders page /stallholders.html. Stall holders will not be permitted to vacate the market until after the event closes
- Prior approval from the organiser is required before any structures are erected or built.
- Stall holders must ensure that all stall equipment including, but not limited to, structures, umbrellas, clothes racks and stock is adequately secured to prevent injury.
- Stall holders must ensure all stock and advertising material remains within the boundaries of the stall. No material from stalls is to protrude on to footpaths or public areas.
- Stall holders are to make all reasonable endeavours to vacate their site no later than one hour after the official closing time of the market.
- Sites must be left clean by stall holders, and rubbish removed from site is to be placed in rubbish bins provided.
- All stall holders selling food are required to comply with the Victoria Food Act 2014, include Food Act 2001 (South Australia) Australia /New Zealand Food Standards Code (safe food handling practices, labelling etc.) and where applicable have a qualified Food Safety Supervisor.
- Vehicles are not permitted on-site during market hours (outdoor markets/events only).
- By providing your email address to the organiser you are agreeing to receive electronic communication in relation to the market or event you have applied for.
- For Webb's Event Group to keep our markets and events as fun, interesting and practical as possible, we want to ensure a vibrant mix of stalls and products. We aim to focus on growers, community-based stalls and sustainable practices. Where possible we have no more than two specialised producers of any particular good to ensure variety.
- We encourage you to sell loose and in bulk items wherever possible.
- The organiser encourages the use of sustainable and recyclable packaging whenever practical.
- All prices need to be clearly displayed.
- A limited number of tables will be available for hire by prior arrangement. If you are not hiring equipment, you will be required to provide your own tables, chairs and advertising material.
- Our standard market sites allow for a table of up to 2m X 2m for indoor stalls, and 3m X 3m for outdoor stalls. A larger stall can be arranged at an additional cost.
- The organiser will work with stall holders and monitor conditions on the day to ensure the best possible experience for everyone. If you have any questions or concerns on the day you can speak directly with the organiser.
- Community interaction is a major part of any market (and good for business too) so please be prepared to provide information for consumers such as your contact details, and for food products ingredients and growing methods. Any potential allergens must be clearly marked on food packaging.
- All stallholders are required to hold a current $10 million public liability insurance. For further clarification on this requirement, contact us.
- Candle Stall need to be registered with a Suppler and must hold a Permit to sell candles or melts. Please contact us for more information.
- Purveyors of hot food and snacks will need to obtain temporary food premises registration via the local Council. For further clarification on this requirement, contact us.
- The organiser will do everything in their power to ensure a safe, fun and vibrant environment for all. Except where prohibited by law, you agree not to hold the organiser liable for any injury, illness or damage to person or property while attending an event.
- Stall fees will need to paid in full by the invoiced payment date to secure your stall booking.
- Register early; sites are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
- Stall fees will not be refunded in cases of poor weather (outdoor stalls only) where the market still operates.
- Stall holders are required to notify the organiser as soon as practical about any changes to your details such as your contact information, new/changed products, non attendance, etc. .
